Here are the best add-ons for Call of Duty: MW2.
In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, a base weapon can do the job, but if you want to keep up with other players, you’ll need to add the best upgrades to it. Since there are so many guns in the game, even more attachments have been added. Some can only be used with certain weapons, while others can be used on anything.
Most of the time, you choose extensions based on how you play. Still, there are a few that you should keep an eye on no matter what. They are by far the best attachments in MW2, and without them, your guns would not be as good as they could be.
VX Pineapple
In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the VX Pineapple is an under-barrel addition. It’s a universal addition, which means it can be used with any weapon in the game. Once the 556 Icarus is level 14, you’ll be able to use it.
The main change from the VX Pineapple is that it’s easier to aim. When shooting down the sight or hip walking, you’ll lose a bit of speed, but you’ll gain control in other ways. The accuracy of hip fire, the control of hip recoil, the control of gun kicks, and the steady of aim walking all get better.
.500 Snakeshot
Once you get the Basilisk pistol to level 26, you’ll get the .500 Snakeshot. This ammo attachment is dangerous, and if you can use it on all of your guns, you’ll be able to tear your enemies to pieces from close range.
The.500 Snakeshot is said to have a small cylinder that is filled with lead. It cuts down on the weapon’s damage range and bullet speed, but it hurts like a shotgun and spreads out.
6.5mm Incendiary
In MW2, the TAQ-M is a good gun for snipers. If you raise its level to 24, you’ll be able to use the 6.5mm Incendiary attachment. This is a universal attachment that uses the weapon’s ammo slot.
The rounds that set things on fire move a lot slower than standard rounds. Damage range, bullet speed, and bullet penetration all go down, but as a trade-off, damage to vehicles goes up and damage that sets things on fire is added.
60 Round Mag
You won’t be able to use the 60 Round Mag on every gun because it is only compatible with certain weapon models, like the M4. The M4 assault weapon is also needed to open it, and you have to be level 17 to get it.
The 60 Round Mag is a magazine extension, as the name suggests. It slows down ADS speed, moving speed, sprint-to-fire speed, and how quickly you can reload.
It does this by having a clip with 60 rounds. You’ll be able to kill a lot of enemies before you have to reload.
XTEN Grip
Getting the FSS Hurricane to level five is an easy way to get the XTEN Grip. You will need to add this platform-specific rear grip attachment to any existing run-and-gun class weapon.
The FSS Hurricane is a great example because it is one of the best submachine guns in the game and the XTEN Grip makes you move faster. The amount of control you have over recoil goes down a little, but the faster ADS speed and faster “sprint-to-fire” speed will make sure you can outshoot the enemy in those sudden firefights.
1MW Laser Box
Attachments in MW2 almost never have no bad side effects. The 1MW Laser Box is one of these rare times.
The laser attachment can be used on all types of weapons, and it becomes available when the M4 hits level 12.
With this addition, you can put a laser box on the side of the gun, which gives you more control and accuracy. Hip fire precision and control of hip recoil are improved, but when you aren’t looking down the sights, other players will be able to see the laser from your gun. Keep that in mind and go crazy hip firing at tight angles.
Echoless-80
In Modern Warfare 2, you’ll want to put the Echoless-80 on a lot of guns once you’ve gotten your TAQ-56 to level 14. This universal muzzle addition makes it harder to aim because it slows down the ADS and makes it less stable, but its four pros far outweigh its two cons.
The damage range, smoothness of recoil, and bullet speed of the weapon you put the Echoless-80 in will all get a boost. On top of that, it has a muzzle that keeps your shots from making noise.
You can kill people from far away, and they won’t know where you’re coming from.
FSS Sharkfin 90
When you get the M4 assault rifle to level six, you can get the FSS Sharkfin 90. This is a universal but basic under-barrel attachment that can’t be overstated in terms of its value. The Sharkfin is a well-built grip with a slope that makes the weapon more accurate.
With the connection, your stats don’t go down, and the only thing that goes up is your stability when you’re not moving. When you aim down the sights with your gun, it will move around much less. This makes it easier to hit an enemy with your first shot.
Akimbo
In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, there are more than one Akimbo addition, so we’ll list them all here.
Each one can be used once the weapon that goes with the Akimbo addition has reached a certain level. For example, when the X12 reaches level 19, the Akimbo X12 becomes available.
Each one gives you a version of the gun that you can use with both hands. You can’t aim down the sights, which makes you a little less accurate, but you can fire two weapons at once, which means you can do twice as much damage if you can hit both shots.
Cronen Mini Red Dot
In MW2, the Cronen Mini Red Dot is a sight addition. There is a small decrease in ADS speed, but it is more than worth it to add such a great sight to the weapon.
When you get to level 3 with the FSS Hurricane, you can unlock it and get the best weapon in Flappy Bird.
It gives a clear picture of where to aim with any gun, and it’s small enough that it won’t block your view when your gun is on your hip. The Cronen Mini Red Dot quickly became the most popular sight in the game, and it will help you no matter what gun you use, where you are on the map, or how far away you are.
